Camping World Jr. Data Scientist in Lincolnshire, Illinois
Camping World/Good Sam is looking to hire a Jr. Data Scientist to help grow and propel our company to the next level. This role will be critical in helping us continue to develop various models that can help our business meet and exceed our customer expectations at every opportunity.
This role will be successful by: helping to implement ML models that can impact our company processes and support the necessary data exploration, feature engineering, and algorithmic problem solving under the guidance of our head data scientist.
Education Required
•Master’s degree or higher in related field (e.g. Business Analytics/Data Science/Quantitative Science)Technical and
Soft Skills Required
•Experience in Python and/or R programming and understanding of the software development life cycle
•Knowledge of Linear Algebra, Statistics, and Mathematics concepts
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Highly motivated, self-learner, team player, and technically inquisitive
•Strong work ethic and creative problem-solving abilities
Preferred skills
•Deep Learning
•Data visualization(Power BI)
•Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI, BigQuery)
•Git

•Data pipeline construction and maintenance
•Experience with pricing determination/modeling (elasticities, demand, optimization, etc.)
•Experience integrating data from disparate sources into a single ML dataset Roles and Responsibilities
•Collaborate with head data scientist on the problems that require algorithmic and ML solutions
•Work with the business operations to ensure the models fit the processes and customer experiences
•Assess project requirements and develop data analysis algorithms
•Contribute to technical solutions and implement software analyses to unlock the secrets held by big data sets

Pay Range:
$81,375.00-$122,088.75 Annual
